H.E. Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Alyousef, Chairman of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judicial Council, presided over the Council's session held today, Tuesday, 26 August 2025.
The Secretary-General of the Administrative Judicial Council, Dr. Ali Al-Ahedib, explained that the Council approved the appointment of 18 judges in several administrative courts affiliated with the Board of Grievances. In addition, the Council approved the 2025–2026 judicial training plan submitted by the General Department of Judicial Affairs, which aims to enhance the competencies of the judicial cadre across administrative courts throughout the Kingdom.
Dr. Al-Ahedib added that the Council also endorsed the annual judicial transfer movement among the administrative courts of the Board of Grievances. Furthermore, the Council issued a resolution to promote 40 judges across various levels of the judicial hierarchy.
He further noted that during the session, the Council reviewed judicial inspection reports on administrative courts and judges, completed the necessary statutory procedures regarding them, and examined a number of agenda items, taking the required decisions accordingly. The Administrative Judicial Council holds its sessions periodically to review developments in the administrative judiciary and to adopt the necessary legislations and resolutions.
