The Board of Grievances has launched the Administrative Judiciary Terminology Dictionary in both Arabic and English through its digital portal and affiliated platforms. The initiative aims to provide a reliable reference for concepts and specialized terminology related to administrative justice, developed in accordance with the latest lexicographic methodologies. The dictionary contributes to clarifying concepts and reducing ambiguity surrounding precise definitions by offering clear explanations of legal terms. This initiative forms part of the Board of Grievances 2030 Framework for Leadership and Maximized Impact, enhancing judicial awareness, facilitating access to specialized legal knowledge, and improving the beneficiary experience.
The dictionary has been designed as an interactive resource, enabling users to easily access its content by selecting the first letter of a term. Its development methodology involved identifying, defining, and translating terminology associated with administrative justice and the Board of Grievances into English through specialized teams. The entries provide explanations of legal concepts and clarify their meanings according to the relevant field or legal framework. Terms have also been classified and arranged alphabetically to facilitate ease of use and reference.
This initiative reflects the Board of Grievances' ongoing efforts to strengthen legal culture, promote judicial awareness, and make specialized knowledge accessible to all beneficiary groups, including legal professionals, practitioners, researchers, law students, and academics. It also contributes to raising public awareness of legal concepts related to administrative justice, reinforcing the rule of law, and maximizing the knowledge impact of the Board of Grievances Framework and its digital services, thereby supporting a clearer and more effective judicial experience for beneficiaries.
