The Judicial Intelligence Hackathon commenced today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, and will run for two days. The event is organized by the Board of Grievances and exclusively sponsored by Elm Company, as the first hackathon of its kind aimed at developing smart litigation services and enhancing beneficiary experiences. The hackathon brings together the teams that qualified to participate, along with a group of experts and specialists in the fields of technology and law.
The first day of the hackathon witnessed participating teams discussing their innovative projects, the details of their ideas, the mechanisms for implementation, and their impact on the workflow of administrative justice and the development of its procedures. This was accompanied by a number of speeches and sessions addressing the role and frameworks for leveraging modern technologies in judicial transactions and legislative regulation, with the aim of achieving a balance between employing smart technologies to develop and improve judicial workflows, in accordance with what is permitted by procedural regulations, without compromising privacy or integrity.
It is worth noting that during the registration period, which began at the end of last December and lasted for three weeks, the hackathon saw significant interest, with more than 1,070 participants and 260 teams from specialists in the fields of technology and law. They submitted numerous innovative and developmental ideas and proposals in support of technologies and work procedures in administrative justice, contributing to faster completion of tasks, improved outputs, and higher levels of beneficiary satisfaction.
