The Board of Grievances has received appreciation and recognition from the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Committees as one of its strategic partners, in acknowledgment of the Board's contributions across the Secretariat's efforts, services, and dealings, as well as the exchange of judicial and legal expertise and the related procedural and digitalization requirements. The recognition also reflects the Board's leading role in raising awareness of zakat, tax, and customs disputes among specialists and the wider community, in addition to the shared knowledge-enrichment initiatives undertaken by both entities.
This recognition ceremony, organized by the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Committees on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at its headquarters in Riyadh to honor its strategic partners, saw the participating delegation of the Board of Grievances—led by Shafi Al‑Subaie, Director General of the Office of H.E. the Chairman of the Board of Grievances—receive the commemorative shield. The Secretariat commended the cooperation between the two entities in promoting legal awareness and strengthening developmental and educational partnerships across the relevant sectors.
It is noteworthy that the Board of Grievances maintains numerous memorandum of cooperation with a range of vital governmental, academic, and organizational entities at the local, regional, and international levels. Through these partnerships, the Board is keen to leverage all provisions to enhance its capabilities and capacities, support and develop governance procedures within its services, and advance its social and knowledge-based development objectives, as part of its ongoing pursuit of leadership in administrative justice.
