His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judiciary Council, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Alyousef, affirmed that the Board of Grievances is progressing into the third phase of its strategy, by the grace of Allah and with the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince—may Allah protect them—building upon a strategic journey that laid the foundations for change and institutional development, advanced through maturity, empowerment, and quality, and culminates in innovation and intelligence.
During his address at the Leadership Ceremony, held on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, in Diriyah Governorate, His Excellency explained that reliance on data, indicators, and statistics is fundamental to identifying the correct path forward, emphasizing that the language of numbers is the true benchmark for evaluation and decision-making. He further noted that administrative enforcement, launched under the directive of HRH the Crown Prince—may Allah protect him—has become a core jurisdiction, contributing to strengthening the authority and stature of judicial rulings, enhancing confidence in the litigation process, and improving related performance indicators. He also highlighted that governance, technology, and automation—grounded in transparency, oversight, and sustainability—enhance judicial quality.
His Excellency pointed out that among the strategic objectives is preparing the Saudi administrative judiciary to operate within comparative courts, as well as employing artificial intelligence in the future for drafting judgments and forecasting developmental and investment indicators. He emphasized that judgments issued by the Board of Grievances have come to enjoy selective recognition for their legal quality. His Excellency further affirmed that the Board of Grievances' attainment of 28 accreditations and awards during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince—may Allah protect them—confirms the achievement of the strategy's targets. He concluded his address by expressing pride in his colleagues, the employees of the Board of Grievances, noting that the upcoming phase requires greater effort and higher ambition, and that achievement is realized only through challenges that are overcome with confidence and diligent work, by the will of Allah.
