 Judical Notations

Last update :5/7/2024 10:33 AM
The recording of legal principles and judicial precedents has received ample attention throughout the ages from our distinguished scholars, alongside much of the jurisprudential issues originating from the realms of the judiciary. Their documentation has thus become a judicial wealth grounded in the rulings of Islamic Law and applicable regulations.

Undoubtedly, the publication of rulings significantly contributes to serving the judiciary by reducing the time spent on case deliberation. This documentation aids in clarifying established judgments, saving time and effort for the case examiner, while also promoting legal and regulatory awareness and transparency. Additionally, it provides practical aspects for entities involved in legal and regulatory research, especially academic and training institutions, among others.

Hence, Article (21) of the Law of The Board of Grievances mandates the classification, printing, and dissemination of judicial rulings, assigning this task to the Office of Technical Affairs, composed of experienced judges supported by research and technical competencies.

As a result of this documentation - thanks to God - (22) groups have been issued containing the principles established by the Supreme Administrative Court for the years from 1439 AH to 1442 AH, judicial rulings issued by the Board of Grievances courts since its establishment until 1443 AH, and the judicial precedents of administrative rulings of the Board of Grievances for the years 1402-1436 AH. Additionally, administrative principles and rulings are provided in English to facilitate access for researchers and contribute to the dissemination of judicial knowledge.

The Office of Technical Affairs continues to issue sets of principles and judicial rulings issued by the Board courts progressively.
